Hi, I'm Sara.

I'm a photographer, entrepreneur, and creative storyteller based in Southern Indiana.

Photography wasn't where my career started—it was where I discovered what I truly loved.

More than 15 years ago, I founded JO+CO, an online women's boutique. Like most small business owners, I wore every hat imaginable. Somewhere along the way, I picked up a camera because I needed beautiful photos for my business.

What I didn't expect was to completely fall in love with the creative process.

I found myself drawn to more than just taking pictures. I loved telling stories through imagery, planning shoots, finding beautiful light, styling outfits, and creating photographs that made people stop scrolling and feel something.

Over the years, photography became one of my favorite parts of building JO+CO. It shaped the brand, brought collections to life, and reminded me just how powerful a single image can be.

Today, I'm excited to expand that passion by photographing seniors, families, entrepreneurs, and brands—capturing everything from life's biggest milestones to the everyday moments you'll want to remember forever.

Alongside photography, I continue to work with a select number of businesses through strategic consulting, helping entrepreneurs grow through thoughtful marketing, branding, and ecommerce strategy. While the work looks different, the heart behind it is the same: helping people tell their story in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.
